|'Blast, blast, blast!'|
Lady Adaira Ambrose is Mr Ambrose's younger sister.
Throughout the Series
Adaira is mentioned many times in the beginning of the book, when Rikkard Ambrose's mother, Lady Samantha, comes to Empire House and desperately asks to see his son. She wants him to come back home to attend a ceremony celebrating Adaira's birthday and her coming of age. Mr Ambrose denies several times, feigning a severe lack of interest for his family after his father forced him to leave home at a young age. He says that if he doesn't come, his mother shouldn't be surprised. After Lilly Linton and Mr Ambrose's adventures in the Amazonian Jungle have concluded and they arrive back to London, Adaira herself visits Empire House, demanding to see her brother. And, in comparison to him and his mother's conversation, which was rather quiet, Adaira's conversation with Mr Ambrose was quite loud. She screams at her brother and demands him to come to Battlewood for the holidays and Adaira's birthday celebration, because he has been saddening his mother and her for long enough. This seems to convince him, and by the end of the book, Mr Ambrose has decided that he has delayed the inevitable for long enough, and finally decides to pay a visit to his family.
She is described by Lilly in Silence is Golden to be young, with a round, childlike face. She is described as looking similar to her older brother, Rikkard Ambrose. She is tall, lithe, and has a chiseled jaw, dark, sea-coloured eyes, and long black hair.
