The following is the Storm and Silence Wiki's Layout Guide, which is to be upheld when making articles on the wiki. The purpose of this page is to serve as a general guide for editors when creating formatted articles. If there are any questions, concerns or issues, then please contact an administrator.

DISCLAIMER:This layout is currently under construction. Anything written here is subject to change, and certain exceptions may apply.

Articles

When editing articles, use the Source mode editor. Formatting of certain elements such as infobox templates may be misordered if edited through the Visual or Classical mode editor.

Articles should have the following elements:

  • Incomplete articles should be given the {{Stub}} template. If an article is incomplete because of one or two sections, those sections should be given the {{Expand}} templates.
  • The first appearance of the article's title within the text should be in bold type.
  • Words that are themselves titles of additional articles should be linked only on their first occurrence per section in the article.
Internal links add to the cohesion and utility of Storm and Silence Wiki by allowing readers to deepen their understanding of a topic by conveniently accessing other articles. These links should be included where it is most likely that readers might want to use them; for example, in article leads, the beginnings of new sections, table cells, and image captions.

Character Articles

Character Template

  • The infobox should only contain canon information, i.e., information stated by the author pertaining to the specified character.
    • If you are unsure of a section, please leave it blank.
  • Images should not be used in a character's infobox as the perceptions of characters' appearances vary throughout the fandom.

Lilly Linton is the protagonist in Storm and Silence. The story is mostly narrated from her point of view. Lilly's main goal in life is always to fight for equal rights for women. She identifies as a staunch, independent feminist and suffragette that is devoted to fighting against chauvinism and patriarchy, making sure that she doesn’t miss the chance to express her aversion to men.
